Singer-Songwriter Julia King is releasing her debut album Radio Therapy Friday, January 10th. The culmination of this album highlights King’s diverse songwriting styles in a brilliantly poetic Misfit Americana mash-up. There are hints of R&B, Jazz, Country, Pop, and Rock & Roll sounds. Song after song King pulls you into her world of Sultry, Sexy, Tormented and Angsty expressionism. Celebrated for music that is undeniably relatable, King has turned everyday therapy into sonic art.

The album was recorded at Sonic Architecture & Design Music Studios. Co-produced by King herself along side musical chameleon Gregory James Elroy McMullen (Chris Whitley, Glen Branca Ensemble). McMullen contributed to composition as well as electric/acoustic, pedal & lap steel guitars adding his experimental yet authentic sound to each track. Radio Therapy was engineered & mixed by Jason Kronick, who also played percussion. The additional cast of characters includes, bass player Brian Karp (Letters to Cleo) & jazz pianist Oscar Williams II (The Gene Machine, Wallace Roney Quintet).
